Bio
Blake Lonie is a Brisbane-based musician, performing in a variety of styles including American and european jazz, funk, soul, rnb, alternative rock and metal.
From his roots playing in metal bands with high school friends, Blake has slowly developed a multi-faceted style by extensive listening, and by being involved in projects of all shapes, sizes and styles. From collaborations with producers, to 8-piece funk bands, to graduating from a Bachelor in Jazz Performance majoring in double bass in 2016, as a bass player Blake is on a lifelong journey of leaving no stone unturned.
